On opening the program the user has to enter the correct user id and password to gain access to the program. Without the correct user id and password, no new data can be entered or existing data and report’s accessed. The user id and password are set up on the first run of the program.

 Daily Totals.

On entering the shift details, all daily totals for GST, Payg, Expenses and a combined GST & Payg figure are displayed.

Ease Of Operation.

Cabmate, while it carries out sophisticated functions, is a very simple program to use and requires no special computer skills to operate it. It will run on any windows platform and does not require any 3rd party software to operate.


 Expense Statement.

Cabmate produces an expense statement for drivers. After selecting the required driver and dates from the report function in the program, a expense statement is generated. This reports shows all the individual shifts the driver has done within the selected dates. The report shows all the expenses that the driver/s has incurred during that period of time.  It provides totals for all the different types of  expenses. . This function aids driver/s in completing his tax return and would prove invaluable should they ever be audited by the tax office.

 Profit and Loss Statement.

Cabmate produces a profit and loss statement for drivers. After selecting the required driver and dates from the report function in the program, a profit and loss statement is generated. This reports shows all the individual shifts the driver has done within the selected dates. The report gives an overall net position, shows the amount of GST and Payg owing. It also calculates and displays all expenses incurred by the driver for that period of time. This function allows a driver to see where they stand financially at the click of a button and assist the driver in completing his tax return and the end of the financial year.
 

 Change The GST Rate.

With a view to the future, built into Cabmate is a facility that will allow the registered owner the ability to change the GST rate should the need ever arise.


 Change The Password.

The user has the ability to change the password to access Cabmate, should they feel that is warranted.



 
 Bas Statement.

The Cabmate program will produce a Bas Statement for the driver for either a monthly, quarterly or yearly period of time by selecting the driver and dates from the Bas Statement feature in the program. The driver is given the option of adding his Payg figure to the Bas Statement. 
Cabmate will produce as many Bas Statements as it is licensed for drivers.

 Mode Of Hire.

Cabmate allows the driver to select the mode of hire agreement they are working under. Whether it be a percentage split, set payin or lease. Within the program the driver can set any percentage split that may be applicable – such as 50/50 or 45/55 and so on.


 Pay As You Go Tax.

Individual Payg rates can be entered into the program for each driver. Every time a shift is entered, the Payg figure is displayed. Total Payg figures for each driver can be seen in the report section of the program


 Capital Acquitisitions.

Any capital acquitisitions made by the driver can be entered into the program.

 

The Ability To Run Multiple Drivers.

The Cabmate program on purchase will process, store data, complete reports and Bas Statement for 2 drivers. This has been designed to make Cabmate more attractive and cost efficient to the Taxi Industry, normally a taxi will run two drivers – Namely a Day and Night Driver.

For a fee (pursuant to the number of drivers) a user may upgrade his Cabmate license to run more then 2 drivers.

 The first upgrade is up to 5 Drivers.
 The second upgrade is up to 10 Drivers.
 The third upgrade is up to 20 Drivers.
 The final upgrade will allow 21 or more Drivers.

 Multiple Users.

Within the restrictions of the license, the registered owner of Cabmate may add or delete users to the program in order to enter data or retrieve reports. This allows for an employee or partner to use the program in the absence of the registered owner. The registered owner also has the option of restricting what areas of the program and functions the new user can access or grant full access as the case may be.


 Deleting Drivers.

Within the restrictions of the license, the registered owner of Cabmate may delete drivers from the program. This feature allows the user to free up licenses on the program as drivers come and go with the passage of time.
